The short version: this site collects nothing about you by default. There are no accounts, no newsletter, no forms.

Analytics — only if you accept

We use Google Analytics 4 to see which locations and pages people actually compare. It is gated behind the consent banner: until you press Accept, not a single byte of Google's script is fetched and no analytics cookie is set. If you press Decline, or never answer, that stays true on every future visit.

If you accept, Google Analytics sets its _ga cookies and we receive standard aggregate usage data (pages viewed, country-level origin, device type). We use Google Consent Mode v2 with advertising signals permanently denied — nothing here is used for ad targeting.

Your choice is stored in your browser's localStorage under ew-ga-consent. To change your mind later, clear this site's data in your browser and the banner will ask again.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes IP addresses in transit and keeps short-lived operational logs to run and protect the service, as any host does. We do not receive or store server-side visitor logs ourselves.

Affiliate links

Some pages may carry clearly-labelled affiliate links (stays, certified eclipse glasses). Clicking one takes you to the merchant under their privacy policy; the merchant may attribute the visit to us. Links change no recommendation on this site.
